The perfect gift to a loved one – sponsor a light on the pier for our Festival of Light 2024. It is a great opportunity to share some joy and support your pier at the same time.
For £10 you will be able to sponsor a light on the pier, see your personalised message appear on our website – sharing the love far and wide! All dedications will appear from early October and will be listed in random order and remain on the website until early January.
Help us to light up the pier this autumn and winter – including Christmas! Our Festival of Light will be an opportunity to remember your loved ones.
The pier will be lit up for:
Baby Loss Awareness Week: a touching opportunity for parents, families and communities to remember and support those affected by the tragic nature of pregnancy and infant loss. This year, this week will be October 9th to 15th . For this time period, the pier will be lit in pink and blue lights.
Remembrance Day: a wonderful opportunity to remember and commemorate the service and sacrifice of all those who defended our freedoms, and an opportunity to celebrate our heroes. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. For this time period, the pier will be lit with red lights.
For the Christmas period: a great opportunity to share some Christmas Joy, to celebrate and remember those who are no longer with us, but who are always in our thoughts. An opportunity too to say thank you to our family and friends and to say Merry Christmas! These multicoloured lights will be switched on at our Christmas Concert on Saturday December 7th.
