FBGP Complaints Policy & Procedure

Friends of Bangor Garth Pier views complaints as an opportunity to learn and improve for the future, as well as a chance to put things right for the person (or organisation) that has made the complaint.

FBGP Conflicts of Interest Policy

The FBGP trustee board will make decisions based only on what’s best for the charity. We do not allow personal interests, or the interests of people or organisations connected to board members, to influence these decisions.

FBGP Serious Incident Reporting Policy

As a charity, the Friends of Bangor Garth Pier are expected to report serious incidents as soon as we are aware of them. Failure to do so could result in further investigation and punitive sanctions from the Charity Commission.

FBGP Financial Policy

Financial records will be kept so that Friends of Bangor Garth Pier can: a) Meet its legal and other statutory obligations such as Charity Acts, HMRC and common law.

FBGP Risk Management Policy

The Friends of Bangor Garth Pier are committed to maintaining an environment where volunteer and consumer safety is paramount.

FGBP Safeguarding Policy

As a charity, the Friends of Bangor Garth Pier have a responsibility to ensure the welfare of our volunteers as well as members of the public who visit the pier.

FGBP Data Protection Policy

Under the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulations (UKGDPR) the FBGP is required to comply with the UK-GDPR and undertakes to do so.
