The Whistlestop on the Pier café has a new home in the orange kiosk on the pier. And proprietors William (Scottie) and Judy Love could not be happier. Said William, “We are now smack bang in the middle of the pier. Some of our regular customers are really pleased that they do not have to walk so far from the entrance of the pier for their Scuffins!” The move was prompted by the urgently required renovation works on their old blue kiosk which would have forced the husband-and-wife team to shut for the summer season. The move to and refurbishment of the orange kiosk only took a week to complete and the café will now be open every day throughout the summer from 10 am. “The location is ideal and the move has worked out really well for us,” William added.
