Following the interest generated by their last visit to the pier, the Llŷn Peninsula Light Painters will be holding a special event on the pier for FBGP members to have a go on Saturday 23rd March from 7 – 10 pm (back-up date 24th March).
Said Ian Greenwood from LPLP: “We have an upcoming opportunity for any members of the Friends to come along and take photos, as well as create their own designs moving the light tools in front of the camera.
“A few light painters will be attending to demonstrate different styles and explain how to use the tools. Friends will then have the opportunity to try these out for themselves and see what we can all produce.
“All you need is a camera with manual mode or a mobile phone with long exposure capability. These images are anything from a few seconds to a minute so a tripod is essential.
“As this evening is being held for the pier charity there will be a £5 donation requested from all attending, but all the light tools and torches required will be supplied by the LPLP group.”
